Centennial Opening Ceremony – Pulaski Middle School
Committee Chair: Keith Chambers (822-5182)
Keith Chambers will
tell a short story about how and why the Village of Pulaski was incorporated.
All Centennial Committee Chairs will provide an update on each event that
will be happening during the summer and fall. There will also be a
PowerPoint presentation with old photos and possibly music. A proclamation
from the State of Wisconsin will also be presented.

Memorial Day – Honor our Local Veterans – Pulaski High School
– Ripley Performing Arts Center
Committee Chair: Jim Van Lannen (822-1181)
There will be a
ceremony to honor local veterans. The Pulaski High School Band will
perform. A military band might also perform.

Cemetery Tour – ABVM Cemetery
Committee Chair: Sue Winter (899-3680)
There will be family
members acting as the deceased person to tell a story about how they were
involved in the history of Pulaski. The girl scouts and boy scouts will
also be involved.

Old Timers Softball Game and Ice Cream Social

There will be an old
timers slow-pitch softball game(s) for seniors 55 and older along with an ice
cream social. The Pulaski Girls Softball Association will also have a
concession stand. Dave Kubiak has agree to MC the baseball game.

Pulaski Polka Days Parade
Committee Chair: Wayne Wood (822-5456)
Wayne is looking for
ideas about how to create a Centennial theme for the parade. He is
thinking about adding more horses per approval from the Village Board.

Pulaski Centennial Music Festival – Downtown Pulaski
Committee Chair: Gregg Matuszak (822-5527 or 822-8339)
This will be the main
event for the Centennial celebration. The music fest will feature the
Pulaski High School Band, the Pulaski High School Alumni Band, MPH a rock band,
Chad Przybylski a polka band, and Saddlebrook a country band playing on three
stages throughout the day. There will bouncers for the kids, the magician
Bob Nowak, face painting, etc. There will be a polish sausage eating
contest. Local businesses are welcome to set up an exhibit if they wish.
There might also be Polish heritage food from SmurawaÕs Country Bakery.

Old Car and Tractor Show – Pancake and Porkie Breakfast - Memorial Park

There will an old car
show, tractor show, small craft show, pancake and porkie breakfast, booyah and
more.

Centennial Closing Service – ABVM Church

Father Patrick will
hold a special service at the church to observe the closing day of the
celebration.

Closing Banquet and Celebration – ZielinskiÕs Ballroom

There will be a formal
banquet catered by Biebels. Everyone is encouraged to dress in vintage
closing from the 1910 era. There will be speakers and possibly a band.
